Dear Friends, I hope this finds you safe, healthy and sane during these unnerving times. Wherever you have found yourselves sheltering, I send you strength and grit to weather these tough times and the resolve to know that this too shall pass.

In an effort to get back to my roots by combining my passion for history and NYC, while also lightening the mood given the onslaught of negative news about our real estate market, I thought I would share some of my favorite books about New York City's rich past and eclectic neighborhoods.

Despite a number of major influences, including the inauguration of a new president and the passing of the first major tax code overhaul in 30 years, New York real estate weathered the storms of 2017 to end the year on solid footing.
